The Copse

A new build executive 5 bedroom 4 bathroom detached house in a traditional style but incorporating a contemporary family layout. This property had to achieve the demanding standards of energy efficiency required by current building regulations as well as meet strict criteria from the planning authority. Achieving the desired size and capacity of accommodation that the client required but with the restrictions of a narrow site and desire for a high degree of privacy from the road and neighbouring properties resulted in a demanding brief. With careful planning and consideration of the site topography it was possible to position the house to maximise privacy and within the restrictions of the site still achieve a spacious layout providing 5 bedrooms (3 en-suite), family bathroom, kitchen, dining room, lounge, utility and cloakroom plus generous garden space.
