Duke of Cambridge Development

This project for Teachers’ Housing Association provides five 1-bedroom flats and three 2-bedroom flats with secure undercroft parking. The development sits on a tight corner plot formerly occupied by the Duke of Cambridge public house. It is a prominent location and therefore the development seeks to provide a distinctive residential scheme in a contemporary style using a palette of high quality materials. The site proved to be challenging to develop given the space limitations and the need to provide a highly sustainable development which achieves Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and Lifetime Homes flexibility. Works commenced on site in September 2015 and were completed in early 2017.
